COVID-19 Hope, Spirituality, Love
As you all may know there is a Pandemic going on. Everyone is feeling this fear of uncertainty, and hopelessness. And you know what? So am I, and it is okay! These are valid feelings and you should accept them. But you should not let these feelings rule you and define who you are. Look at all the good that can come from all this negativity. Without this negativity you could not know that you are good at gardening, or you're a born writer because you decided to start. Or you are actually an artist. Or you love photography. Or your bomb at making them Tik Tok videos!
This is a time to lift each other up and be there for each other when we physically can't. We have this amazing thing called internet! Use it! Download the skype app, zoom, or facetime some loved ones that are far away. Video chat is the best thing ever! Maybe open a book and sit on your porch and yell at your neighbor a "hello".
There is a lot of deception surrounding this pandemic and this is also a time to start listening to your intuition on what is right and what is wrong. It is a time to stop and do some self-care. Trust me some WELL NEEDED self-care. I know I am!
I am facing myself in the mirror, and knowing, I have the power to change some of that image or not. It is hard, but reaching out, via video phone (insert Gaga and Beyonce) or just a phone call. We as a HUMAN RACE got this in the bag! This is not the only pandemic the world has faced and I hate to tell you this wont be the last. You are da bomb sauce!
If you have not listened to the spiritual community lately then you should. There is amazing messages of hope and encouragement out there, and it's okay to not watch the news once in a while, just take some time to Netflix and chill with your bad self!
Below is a wonderful human being that gives messages of hope in dark and troubling times. One of them anyway. And her name is Adela Lavine. If you have not heard of her, you will now. She is someone that I have followed for awhile now, and some of her messages resonate with me a lot, some may not with you, but the video below should resonate with you and give you a little inspiration in these dark times.
I love you. Yes, you! You are the one reading this right now. You matter and I love you. So get up and do that Yoga you thought you would never try. Or start cleaning out your closet. (I know you know that it's scary in there!) Do something to pass the time. It will pass. We as the world need to lift each other up not down.
Check out Adela's message below. Her, and her co-host on The Witch and the Medium podcast, are great people and worth the listen! They will get you out of your doldrums and teach you a few things! :)
Also check out theses websites below for more information on the Coronavirus 2019. Get educated! And remember this is not the first pandemic that the world has faced. World War 1 brought about the biggest flu pandemic ever. We learned from this pandemic too. What we learned was to wash your hands for 20 seconds, social distancing, and wiping down surfaces. They don't tell you these things for no reason! Check out those resources below!
