Green for Healing

Heart Chakra
Healing, to me, can mean many different things. Many different aspects. You can heal your physical body, your mind, or your spirit. You can heal yourself from even the "Green Monster" called jealousy. Help you move on with your life. So many different ways to do it. You just has to choose what is best for you and what you need healed.

For me, I like to use the power of crystal energy to help heal all these many different aspects. I mean they use quartz crystals in your cell phone for memory! Why can't all these different quartz crystals help you focus? Selenite! Random thought alert! Have you seen the new set to Doctor Who!? She has giant selenite crystals as the central consul for the TARDIS. Come on! Crystals are a great way to help your body facilitate its natural healing abilities. Got a broken heart? Don't worry there's a crystal for that. Or for this blog series.... There's a color for that!

The color green has been associated with the heart aspect of your 7 chakras. It is one of the colors to heal your heart, like pink. This is the color that brings good luck, fortune, and abundance into your very life. It is a power house of a color. It's associate with the Earth itself. What better way to heal then being in touch with Mother Earth? She knows what's up!

Taking the time to heal your body, mind, or soul can take a lot of focus. So the first step that I love to do is meditate. Get into a good mindset and focus. Clarity in this instance is key! Because if you are angry then your spell can go the wrong way. Intention for any spell work is key!

Tools can be important in any working. Let's say you want to heal your heart chakra, you use a green colored candle to represent your heart energy and it burning down represents the time that it needs to heal. You add a bit of herbs to the mix to spice it up to heal faster, or you get our your handy dandy crystals! Next you use your words and create a clear, concise, understanding of what you want this spell to do. You want this broken heart mended.

Green Calcite
For me I love to heal with crystals. Any crystal that is green will most likely help in healing your heart chakra. Basics man, basics! So if I decide to bring in a little extra I will whip out my green calcite for a little chakra heart cleansing.

Green is a great grounding color. Just think of the Earth and how the trees are in bloom and the flowers are growing again. Earthing is a great way to get in touch with nature AND a little healing your way. Mind, body, and soul realness! So go out there and get your green on! Eat green, drink green, wear green, it will change your mood.

That One Dream Ritual

  I mentioned I was doing a Dream Ritual right? If not, I did it. I did this for 7 days using the spell bottle I got from the Witches Box Subscription . I wanted to do this to talk to my Shadow Side and get to know him a little better. I set forth my intention every night before bed and asked to better communicate with my Shadow Side. So here is my journey! I JUST noticed this as I was reading through my dreams. I kept waking up and for the dates I kept writing the number 10 each night. Mind you, I did this ritual while it was a full moon in February! Not October! I was so confused, I crossed it out and wrote 2 instead of 10, but I had the feeling to look up the significance of the number. I found that it is an "Angel" number, but I am not Christian by any means, so I kept looking for the spiritual significance, and the sum of it is, that my Higher Self is telling me to pay attention to this. As I sit at my table staring at this computer screen, I begin to type. I begin to write. I have touched base with things in my trauma and PTSD. I have figured out that when someone pushes for love and light all the time, they are just full of Bull Shit. Total, and utter bull shit.
